Rachel Getting Married is an invitation to a wedding with one of the squirmiest toasts you’ll ever hear, but have you ever been to a wedding that didn’t have at least one?
Director Jonathan Demme takes his sweet time in telling the story, and offers a peek into every moment, however sweet or painful. I felt like a wedding crasher involved in this intimate family event.
Producer Marc E. Platt (Wanted, Empire Falls, Happy Endings, and many more) was kind enough to speak to me about the film.
